Porque é importante saber suas marcas??

Não é porque eu quero saber se voce é a pessoa mais forte da academia ou o líder do quadro. De fato, eu não me importo quais são seus números de maneira nenhuma.
Como coaches, nós queremos saber quais são suas marcas para que VOCE aproveite ao máximo a sessão de treino e para que nós: coaches consigamos conduzir a aula e dividir as turmas mais cuidadosamente.
Aqui vai um exemplo: um WOD que tenha 45 repetições de levantamento terra a 250 lbs e um monte de burpees. O WOD é prescrito para durar de 7-10 minutos.

Se voce sabe que seu 1RM de Terra é 175 lbs voce sabe que não vai fazer o WOD com 250 lbs. Voce pode facilmente perguntar ao seu coach o qual o peso que voce vai fazer o WOD e se seu coach tem a informação que seu RM é 175 é facil para ele te dar uma carga apropriada para as 45 repetições serem feitas com segurança dentro do time cap. Porque o time cap é mais um guia pra voce saber quanto um exercício deve durar do que um tempo limite.

Se todo mundo na sala sabe onde está, as barras são carregadas com os pesos apropriados. O exercício começa e termnina no tempo certo porque todos acabam com mais ou menos 7 -10 minutos.E melhor ainda: todos terminam o WOD em segurança numa situação que se tem ganhos de condicionamento e melhora de performance e com a sensação de dever cumprido.

Agora Imagine uma situação onde ninguém tem ideia de quanto pode levantar. Alguma pessoas carregam a barra muito leve e outras muito pesada. E outros ainda perguntam ao coach o que deveriam estar fazendo. Talvez o Professor nunca tenha dado aula pra esses alunos e não consiga aconselha-los. O Coach corre freneticamente tentando ajudar todo mundo a ficar pronto, e o WOD começa atrasado.
Tudo vira uma bagunça! Alguma pessoas terminam super rápidos os terras e saem do WOD sentindo que poderiam fazer muito mais. Outros são forçados a tirar o peso no meio do caminho porque a barra esta muito pesada e a forma é sacrificada. O WOD termina tarde e a próxima aula já começa atrasada e assim o ciclo continua. E o pior de tudo isso é que ninguém tira o máximo proveito do exercício do jeito que deveria se a barra estivesse com o peso adequado.

Ajude voce mesmo!!! E ajude as pessoas a sua volta anotando os pesos que voce faz durante as aulas. Seja no aplicativo ou na caneta e no papel. Saiba seus números!!!!
